Prepare Proteins

    Cook Chicken

    In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, and cook for about 7-10 minutes until cooked through. Shred and set aside.

    Cook Pork

    In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the pork with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until fully cooked and tender. Shred or chop and set aside.

    Cook Ground Beef

    In another skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and season with taco seasoning. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

    Cook Mushrooms

    In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened.

    Optional Proteins

    For shrimp or fish, season with lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper, and cook in a skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until cooked through. For steak, grill or pan-sear to desired doneness and slice thin.

Assemble Tacos

    Warm Tortillas

    Warm corn tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side or until pliable.

    Fill Tacos

    Fill each tortilla with your choice of protein, and top with guacamole and salsa.

Serve

    Plate the Meal

    Serve the tacos with yellow rice, black beans, and a side of chips. Finish with churros for dessert.
