Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Fettuccini
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Sauté the Vegetables and Sausage
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced green and red bell peppers and cook for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the sliced Andouille sausage and minced garlic, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- 3
Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- 4
Make the Cajun Cream Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream, add the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 5
Combine Everything
Add the cooked fettuccini to the skillet and toss to coat it with the sauce. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well mixed.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Serve the Cajun pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
