Meatballs
Method
Preparation
- 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Mix Meatball Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, ricotta salata, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined but do not overmix.
- 3
Form Meatballs
Using your hands, take a portion of the meat mixture and roll it into 1.5-inch meatballs. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 4
Coat with Breadcrumbs
Roll each meatball in the garlic breadcrumbs until fully coated, then return them to the baking sheet.
- 5
Bake
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown on the outside.
- 6
Serve
Remove the meatballs from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. They can be served with marinara sauce, pasta, or on their own.
