Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Macaroni

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Cook the macaroni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cheese Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, diced tomatoes, chopped basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

    Form the Bites

Using your hands, scoop out a tablespoon of the macaroni and cheese mixture and form it into a ball. Repeat until all mixture is used.

  4. 4

    Coat with Breadcrumbs

Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Roll each mac and cheese ball in the breadcrumbs until fully coated.

  5. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  6. 6

    Bake the Bites

Place the coated mac and cheese bites on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your tomato basil mac n cheese bites!
