Salad

Method

Salad Preparation

1

Prepare the Romaine

Wash the Romaine lettuce under cold water, then dry thoroughly. Chop the leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

2

Add Cherry Tomatoes

Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the bowl with the Romaine lettuce.

3

Add Parmesan Cheese

Grate the Parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the salad.

Dressing Preparation

4

Make the Dressing

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic (from the 2 cloves), lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.

5

Add Olive Oil

Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify the dressing. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Crouton Preparation

6

Prepare the Croutons

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the French bread slices into cubes.

7

Season the Croutons

In a bowl, combine the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Toss until the bread is evenly coated.

8

Bake the Croutons

Spread the seasoned bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy. Stir halfway through.

Assembly

9

Combine Salad and Dressing

Drizzle the prepared dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine.

10

Add Croutons

Top the salad with the homemade croutons just before serving.

11

Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your fresh Caesar Salad!
