Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the ribeye steak into thin strips, chop the onion and mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Caramelize the Onions and Mushrooms

In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent, then add the mushrooms and cook until softened. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

In the same skillet, add the ribeye steak and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Omelet

In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper. In the skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter over medium-low heat, pour in the eggs, and cook gently.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Omelet

Once the eggs begin to set, add the caramelized onions, mushrooms, and cooked steak on one half of the omelet. Top with muenster cheese and fold the other half over. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.

  6. 6

    Prepare the Sides

Prepare the biscuit mix according to package instructions and bake biscuits. Cook hash browns in a separate skillet until crispy and golden brown.

  7. 7

    Serve

Plate the omelet with a biscuit and a serving of hash browns on the side.
