Preparation

- 2
Melt chocolate and butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the semisweet chocolate and unsalted butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- 3
Mix the batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until pale and thick. Slowly add the melted chocolate mixture, mixing until well combined. Stir in the flour and salt until just combined.
- 4
Add peanut butter
Spoon half of the batter into each ramekin, then add a tablespoon of creamy peanut butter in the center of each. Top with the remaining batter, covering the peanut butter.
- 5
Bake
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let sit for 1 minute. Carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top.
