1. Prepare the Chicken

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them on a cutting board and gently pound them to an even thickness for uniform cooking.

In a shallow dish, place the all-purpose flour. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs until well mixed. In a third shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

3. Dredge the Chicken

Coat each chicken breast lightly in flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.

4. Coat with Breadcrumbs

Finally, press the chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated on both sides. Set the breaded chicken aside on a plate.

5. Cook the Chicken

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

6. Bake

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
