Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brussels sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Roast the Brussels sprouts

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the halved Brussels sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, ensuring they are well coated. Spread them out evenly on a baking sheet cut-side down.

  2. 3

    Bake

Roast the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through.

Making the Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, chili flakes, lime juice, and sesame oil until well combined.

Finishing Touches

  1. 5

    Combine and serve

Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, remove them from the oven and drizzle the sauce over them while they’re still hot. Toss to coat evenly. Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro before serving.
