Method

Preparation

1

Prep the Vegetables

Wash and chop all vegetables as indicated in the ingredients list. Ensure that the broccoli is cut into bite-sized florets, bell pepper is sliced thinly, carrot is julienned, zucchini is sliced into half-moons, and green onions are chopped into small pieces.

2

Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, cornstarch, and water. Whisk together until the cornstarch is completely dissolved. Set aside.

Cooking

3

Heat the Pan

In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

4

Stir Fry the Vegetables

Add the broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, snow peas, and zucchini to the heated skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

5

Add the Sauce

Pour the sauce mixture over the stir-fried vegetables. Toss well to coat all the vegetables evenly. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

6

Finish and Serve

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chili flakes if desired.
