Method

Preparing the Ribs

  1. 1

    Seasoning the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). In a bowl, mix paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub this mixture all over the baby back ribs.

  2. 2

    Cooking the Ribs

Wrap the seasoned ribs in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender. Unwrap the foil and brush BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Broiling the Ribs

Turn on the broiler and place the ribs back in the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

Making French Fries

  1. 4

    Cutting and Frying the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into fries. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

Preparing Coleslaw

  1. 5

    Mixing the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
