Cranberry Conserve Directions

Prepare the Cranberry Conserve
In a medium saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and orange zest. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

Simmer the Mixture
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.

Cool the Conserve
Remove from heat and let it cool completely. The conserve can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.

- 5
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

- 7
Toast the Buns
While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on a separate skillet or in a toaster.
