Method

Omelet Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the onion and bell peppers into small pieces. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Beat the Eggs

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

Heat olive oil or butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell peppers. Sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Sausage and Cheese

Add the crumbled sausage to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes. Then, pour the beaten eggs over the mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top.

  5. 5

    Cook the Omelet

Reduce heat to low and cover the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the eggs are set. Carefully fold the omelet in half and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Hashbrowns Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook the Hashbrowns

In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add frozen hashbrowns and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Dish

Plate the omelet alongside a generous serving of hashbrowns. Serve with your choice of toast, English muffin, or biscuits.
