Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the Delmonico ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Preheat your grill or skillet to high heat.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the steaks with olive oil, then season generously with kosher salt and black pepper on both sides.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Place the steaks on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time as needed for your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Onion Tanglers

While the steaks are cooking, thinly slice the onion into rings. In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, and paprika. Dredge the onion rings in the flour mixture.

  5. 5

    Fry the Onion Tanglers

In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the dredged onion rings until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the steaks are cooked to your liking, remove them from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes. Top each steak with crispy onion tanglers before serving.
