Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs. Make sure each piece is fully coated.
- 3
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- 4
Add Marinara and Cheese
Pour marinara sauce over the chicken breasts. Top with shredded mozzarella, provolone slices, and grated parmesan cheese.
- 5
Bake
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 6
Cook the Pasta
While the chicken is baking, cook the capellini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- 7
Serve
Once the chicken is done, serve each piece over a bed of capellini pasta. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
