Crostini Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the Baguette
Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Prepare the Crostini
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

Toast the Crostini
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside.
Shrimp Scampi Preparation

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

Season the Shrimp
Add lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and chopped parsley to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional minute. Remove from heat.
Pesto Aioli Preparation

Mix Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, pesto, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Assembly and Serving

Assemble the Crostini
Spread a layer of pesto aioli on each toasted crostini. Top with a generous portion of shrimp scampi.

Arrange the crostini on a serving platter. Serve with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges on the side.
