Pancake Ingredients

Method

Pancake Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Whisk together until well blended.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together 3 cups of milk, 1 large egg, and 2 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; it's okay if there are a few lumps.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Pan

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with a bit of butter or cooking spray if desired.

  5. 5

    Cook the Pancakes

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the heated skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the pancakes warm, drizzled with maple syrup to taste. Enjoy your fluffy pancakes!
