Method
For the Chicken Tenders
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour mixed with salt, pepper, and paprika; one with beaten eggs; and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip into the flour, shaking off excess. Then dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken Tenders
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain and Cool
Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
For the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
- 7
Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- 8
Serve
Transfer the honey mustard sauce to a serving bowl and serve alongside the crispy chicken tenders.
