Method

Burger Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the seasoned beef into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Place each cheeseburger patty on the bottom half of a bun. Add ketchup, mustard, and pickles on top before placing the top half of the bun.

Fries Directions

  1. 6

    Prepare the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the frozen French fries package.

  2. 7

    Cook the Fries

Spread the frozen fries evenly on a baking sheet and drizzle with vegetable oil. Bake according to package instructions until golden and crispy, usually about 20-25 minutes.

  3. 8

    Season the Fries

Once cooked, remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle with salt to taste. Toss gently to ensure even seasoning.
