Method
Prepare the English Muffins

Toast the Muffins
Split the English muffins in half and toast them until golden brown. Spread butter on each half after toasting and set aside.
Cook the Eggs

Fry the Eggs
In a non-stick skillet, crack the eggs and cook them over medium heat to your desired doneness. Season with salt and black pepper while cooking.
Prepare the Protein

Heat the Protein
If using bacon, cook until crispy. If using sausage, heat through in a skillet until warmed and slightly browned. Set aside.
Cook the Panfries or Hash Browns

Cook the Potatoes
Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown and crispy.
Prepare Beans or Grits

Heat the Beans
If using black beans, heat in a small pot over medium heat until warmed through. Season with salt if desired.
Assemble the Sandwich

Build the Sandwich
On the buttered side of each English muffin half, layer the cooked protein, fried egg, and panfries or hash browns. Top with the other half of the muffin to complete the sandwich.
