Method

Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

2

Melt Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.

3

Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.

4

Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

5

Mix Everything Together

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

6

Bake

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

7

Cool and Serve

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream, drizzled with chocolate sauce and caramel, and topped with chopped pecans.
