Make the Ice Cream Base
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined and smooth.

Chill the Mixture
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or until it is thoroughly chilled.

Churn the Ice Cream
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Add Mix-ins
During the last few minutes of churning, add the peanut butter chips and chopped Reese's® peanut butter cups into the ice cream maker.

Freeze
Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
