Prepare the Ice Cream Base
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and coconut extract until well combined. Gently fold in the shredded coconut.

Chill the Mixture
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or until it is thoroughly chilled.

Churn the Ice Cream
Once the mixture is chilled, pour it into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Add Mix-Ins
During the last few minutes of churning, add the toasted coconut, chopped almonds, chocolate chips, and chopped Almond Joy® candy bars to the ice cream.

Freeze the Ice Cream
Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
