Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

Rub the Angus rib eye steak with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or barbecue to high heat (about 450°F or 232°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the marinated steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, depending on thickness. Use a meat thermometer to ensure an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C).

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Sautéed Potatoes

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

In a pot, add the baby potatoes and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and let cool slightly.

  2. 6

    Sauté the Potatoes

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the boiled potatoes, season with salt and black pepper, and sauté until golden brown and crispy, about 10 minutes. Stir in chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Preparing the Asparagus

  1. 7

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice, tossing to coat.

  2. 8

    Sauté the Asparagus

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the asparagus for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp and bright green.
