Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and chopped fresh rosemary. Rub this mixture all over the Angus NY shell steaks and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F/232°C) while the steak marinates.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Once the grill is hot, place the marinated steaks on the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time as needed for your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Sautéed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

In a pot, boil the baby potatoes in salted water for about 15 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. 6

    Sauté the Potatoes

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 7

    Add Potatoes and Seasonings

Add the boiled potatoes to the skillet, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and sauté for an additional 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown. Stir in the chopped parsley before serving.

Asparagus Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus spears and rinse them under cold water.

  2. 9

    Season and Cook the Asparagus

In a bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Preheat a grill or grill pan and cook the asparagus for about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.
