In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil and add the hot dog sausages. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.

Prepare the Hot Dogs

While the hot dogs are cooking, you can warm the hot dog buns either in a microwave for 15-20 seconds or in a toaster for a few minutes until they are soft.

Warm the Buns

Once the sausages are cooked, place each sausage into a bun. Top each hot dog with yellow mustard, chopped onions, sweet relish, chili, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and sauerkraut as desired.
