Baking Directions

  1. 1

Prepare the Oven and Baking Pan

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a large baking pan (approximately 12x18 inches) to prevent sticking.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Both Mixtures

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. 5

    Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. 6

    Cool and Shape

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut out a large mouth shape from the cake.

  7. 7

    Assemble the Monster Mouth

Place the giant mouth on a serving platter. Scoop the ice cream into the mouth's cavity. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the ice cream, and top with whipped cream, sprinkles, and cherries.

  8. 8

    Serve

Cut slices from the mouth and serve immediately for a fun and delicious dessert experience.
