Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In one shallow dish, place the all-purpose flour. In a second shallow dish, beat the eggs. In a third shallow dish, add the breadcrumbs.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip in the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated, then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

- 6

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the tomato sauce. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve hot over pasta or with a side salad.
