Preparing Chicken Marsala
- 1
Season the Chicken
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Dredge the Chicken
Coat each chicken breast in all-purpose flour, shaking off the excess flour.
- 3
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

- 5
Add Marsala Wine
Pour in the Marsala wine, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer and let it reduce for about 5 minutes.
- 6
Combine Chicken and Sauce
Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors.
