Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Slice the Steak

Thinly slice the ribeye steak against the grain to ensure tenderness.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced ribeye steak and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.

Caramelized Onions

  1. 3

    Slice and Caramelize Onions

Slice the onion thinly. In a skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of oil and the sliced onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes until the onions are golden brown and caramelized. Remove from heat.

Pesto Aioli Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix the Aioli

In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, pesto sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Sliders

Slice the slider buns in half. Spread a generous amount of pesto aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a portion of the grilled steak, caramelized onions, and a slice of mozzarella cheese. Place the top half of the bun on each slider.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the sliders with long hot peppers on the side for an extra kick.
