Method
Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat the leaves dry with paper towels or a salad spinner. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Caesar Dressing
Pour the Caesar dressing over the chopped romaine lettuce. Toss the lettuce gently to ensure that all the leaves are evenly coated with the dressing.
- 3
Add Parmesan Cheese
Grate the Parmesan cheese finely and sprinkle it over the salad. Toss again to distribute the cheese evenly throughout the salad.
Crouton Preparation
- 4
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the slices of bread into cubes, approximately 1-inch in size.
- 5
Season the Croutons
In a mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes, olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Toss the bread until all pieces are well coated with the oil and seasonings.
- 6
Bake the Croutons
Spread the seasoned bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the croutons are golden brown and crunchy. Stir occasionally to ensure even browning.
