Omelet and Sides

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon and Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. In the same skillet, cook the sausage links until browned and cooked through. Remove and slice them into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Potatoes

In the same skillet, add the breakfast potatoes and cook according to package instructions or until golden brown and crispy. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Make the Omelet

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper. Heat olive oil or butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet.

  4. 4

    Add Fillings

As the eggs begin to set, add the cooked bacon, sausage, and cheddar cheese on one half of the omelet. Let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Fold and Serve

Carefully fold the omelet in half, covering the fillings. Cook for another minute until the cheese is melted. Serve hot with breakfast potatoes and Texas toast on the side.
