Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your grill or oven. If using a grill, lightly oil the grates. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

Place the chicken on the grill or in the oven and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (about 20-25 minutes), turning halfway through.

  3. 3

    Shred the Chicken

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill/oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

  4. 4

    Mix with BBQ Sauce

In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce and mix well until the chicken is evenly coated.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Toast the buns lightly if desired. Spoon the pulled BBQ chicken onto the bottom half of each bun, and top with coleslaw if using. Place the top half of the bun on top.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the pulled BBQ chicken sandwiches warm with your favorite sides.
