Method
Prepare Fries
- 1
Cook the Fries
Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and crispy, usually around 25-30 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
Make White Queso
- 2
Prepare the Queso
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cream cheese and heavy cream. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth. Gradually add the shredded Monterey Jack cheese, stirring continuously until melted and smooth. Add the diced jalapeños and garlic powder, mixing well. Remove from heat and set aside.
Prepare Lime Crema
- 3
Mix Lime Crema
In a small bowl, combine sour cream and lime juice. Mix well until smooth. Adjust lime juice to taste and set aside.
Assemble Loaded Fries
- 4
Layer the Fries
Once the fries are cooked and crispy, remove them from the oven. Immediately pour the pork or veggie green chili evenly over the fries, followed by the white queso. Lastly, sprinkle crumbled Cotija cheese and chopped cilantro on top.
- 5
Drizzle Lime Crema
Drizzle the lime crema over the loaded fries before serving. Serve immediately and enjoy!
