Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove any wilted leaves and then chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large mixing bowl.

Make the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into small cubes (about 1 inch in size). In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated. Spread the croutons on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Stir halfway through to ensure even toasting. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Combine Ingredients
Once the croutons are cool, add them to the bowl with the chopped romaine lettuce. Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine, ensuring that the lettuce and croutons are evenly coated.
