Pork Chops

For Serving

Method

Prepare the Pork

  1. 1

    Season the Pork

Sprinkle the boneless pork sirloin with salt and black pepper on both sides. Allow the seasoned pork to sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Breading the Pork

  1. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow dishes, place the all-purpose flour in the first dish, beat the eggs in the second dish, and combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and onion powder in the third dish.

  2. 3

    Bread the Pork

Dredge each pork chop first in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat well with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each pork chop is evenly coated.

Frying the Pork

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers but is not smoking.

  2. 5

    Fry the Pork Chops

Carefully place the breaded pork chops into the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

  3. 6

    Drain the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serve

  1. 7

    Plate and Serve

Serve the fried pork chops hot with a side of pickles. Enjoy your Original Pork Chop John!
