Margarita Preparation

Prepare the Glass
If desired, rim the glass with salt. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim and then dip it into a plate of salt. Set aside.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add the agave nectar, Cointreau, fresh squeezed lime juice, sweet & sour mix, and orange juice.

Shake
Fill the shaker with ice and securely close the lid. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well combined and chilled.

Strain into Glass
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
Side Car Preparation

Pour the Grand Marnier
Pour the Grand Marnier into a small shot glass or a side car to serve alongside the margarita.
Garnishing

Add Garnish
Garnish the margarita with a lime wheel on the rim of the glass.
