Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Grilled Cheese Sandwich Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Take two slices of bread and lay them flat on a clean surface.

  2. 2

    Add Cheese

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on one slice of bread.

  3. 3

    Top with Bread

Add the second slice of bread on top of the cheese.

  4. 4

    Butter the Bread

Spread butter evenly on the top slice of bread.

  5. 5

    Heat the Pan

Place a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and let it warm up for a couple of minutes.

  6. 6

    Cook the Sandwich

Once the pan is hot, place the sandwich in the skillet, buttered side down. Butter the other side of the sandwich while it cooks. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  7. 7

    Slice and Serve

Once cooked, remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and serve warm.

Fries Directions

  1. 8

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 9

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  3. 10

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.

  4. 11

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Spread the seasoned potato strips in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. 12

    Bake the Fries

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden and crispy.

  6. 13

    Serve

Remove the fries from the oven, let them cool for a minute, and serve alongside the grilled cheese sandwich.
