Cookie Base Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cream the Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking soda, and 1 tsp of salt.

Mix Dry Ingredients with Wet Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fold in Chocolate Chunks
Gently fold in 1.5 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chunks.
Baking the Cookie

Pour the Cookie Dough
Spread the cookie dough evenly in the skillet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is slightly underbaked.
