Method

Prepare the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spice mixture all over the salmon fillets.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Cook the Salmon

Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has a blackened crust. Remove from the skillet and let rest.

Prepare the Salad

  1. 4

    Chop the Romaine

Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.

  2. 5

    Add Croutons and Cheese

Add the croutons and shredded parmesan cheese to the bowl with the lettuce.

  3. 6

    Dress the Salad

Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss until everything is well coated.

Serve the Dish

  1. 7

    Plate the Salad

Divide the dressed salad among serving plates.

  2. 8

    Slice the Salmon

Slice the blackened salmon fillets and place on top of the salad. Serve immediately.
