Prepare the Filling

Mix the Cheese
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheese, cream cheese, chili flakes, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Fill the Pastry
Place a generous tablespoon of the cheese mixture at one end of the layered pastry. Fold the sides over the filling and roll it tightly to form a cylinder shape. Seal the edges with a brush of melted butter.
Fry the Shawrmak

Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches about 180°C (350°F).

Fry the Shawrmak
Carefully drop the rolled shawrmak into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
