Method
Lemonade Preparation
- 1
Juicing the Lemons
Cut the lemons in half and juice them using a lemon squeezer or reamer to extract as much juice as possible. You should have about 1 to 1.5 cups of lemon juice.
- 2
Mixing the Sugar
In a pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice with 1 cup of granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 3
Adding Water
Pour 4 cups of cold water into the pitcher with the lemon juice and sugar mixture. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Adding Seasonal Flavors
- 4
Incorporating Mint
Add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves into the lemonade. Stir gently to release the mint flavor into the drink.
- 5
Adding Seasonal Fruits
Rinse the raspberries (or other seasonal fruit) and gently add them to the lemonade. Stir lightly to distribute the fruit without breaking them.
- 6
Serving
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lemonade over the ice. Garnish with additional mint leaves if desired.
