Preparing Espresso

1. Brew the Espresso

Using an espresso machine, brew 2 shots of espresso. If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can use a stovetop espresso maker.

2. Dilute if Needed

If you prefer a milder coffee flavor, dilute the espresso with 30 ml of hot water.

Frothing the Milk

3. Heat the Milk

In a small saucepan, heat 150 ml of whole milk over low heat until it is warm but not boiling.

4. Froth the Milk

Using a milk frother or a whisk, froth the milk until it is light and frothy. This should take about 1-2 minutes.

5. Sweeten the Milk

Add 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the frothed milk, mixing well to combine.

Assembling the Cappuccino

6. Combine Espresso and Milk

In a cappuccino cup, pour the brewed espresso (or diluted espresso) first, followed by the frothed milk.

7. Add Toppings

Sprinkle 1 tsp of cocoa powder and 1 tsp of cinnamon on top of the frothed milk for added flavor and presentation.

8. Serve
