Method

Cooking Pork Chops

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Season the pork chops with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork Chops

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the pork chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Making Whipped Potatoes

  1. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them in salted water until fork-tender (about 15-20 minutes). Drain the water.

  2. 4

    Whip the Potatoes

Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper to the drained potatoes. Mash and whip until creamy and smooth.

Preparing Homemade Applesauce

  1. 5

    Cook the Apples

In a pot, combine the chopped apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes or until apples are soft.

  2. 6

    Mash the Apples

Use a fork or potato masher to mash the apples to your desired consistency. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the pork chops with a generous scoop of whipped potatoes, a side of homemade applesauce, and warm bread rolls.
