Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Boursin Aioli

In a small bowl, mix the Boursin cheese with a teaspoon of water to thin it out slightly, creating a creamy aioli. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Toast the Ciabatta

Spread the unsalted butter on one side of each slice of Ciabatta bread. Heat a skillet over medium heat and toast the bread, butter side down, until golden brown and crisp.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the unbuttered side of one slice of toasted Ciabatta, spread a layer of the Boursin aioli. Layer the smoked turkey breast evenly over the aioli, then add the cranberry caramelized red onion jam on top of the turkey. Finally, pile on the arugula and top with the second slice of toasted Ciabatta, butter side up.

  4. 4

    Grill the Sandwich

Return the assembled sandwich to the skillet and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the ingredients are heated through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.
