Ranch Dressing
Method
Preparing Cauliflower
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- 2
Cut the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower head. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
- 3
Season the Cauliflower
In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cornstarch until they are well coated.
Baking the Cauliflower
- 4
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Spread the seasoned cauliflower florets evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 5
Bake the Cauliflower
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy. Toss halfway through for even cooking.
- 6
Add Buffalo Sauce
Remove the baking sheet from the oven, and toss the baked cauliflower with buffalo sauce until fully coated.
- 7
Return to Oven
Put the coated cauliflower back in the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to set the sauce.
Making Ranch Dressing
- 8
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- 9
Chill the Dressing
Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving
- 10
Plate the Dish
Once the cauliflower is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
- 11
Serve with Ranch
Serve the buffalo cauliflower warm with the chilled ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
