Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meats

Trim excess fat from the beef brisket and pork ribs. Shred the pulled pork if not pre-shredded.

  2. 2

    Season the Meats

In a small bowl, combine the BBQ rub, salt, and black pepper. Rub the seasoning mix generously over the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs.

  3. 3

    Marinate

In a separate bowl, mix apple cider vinegar and olive oil. Brush this marinade onto the meats and let them sit for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for better flavor.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill or Smoker

Preheat your grill or smoker to 225°F (107°C).

  2. 5

    Cook the Brisket

Place the seasoned brisket on the grill/smoker and cook for 10-12 hours until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C). Wrap in foil after 6 hours to retain moisture.

  3. 6

    Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on the grill/smoker alongside the brisket and cook for about 5-6 hours, or until tender. You can baste the ribs with BBQ sauce during the last hour of cooking.

  4. 7

    Heat the Pulled Pork

If the pulled pork is pre-cooked, heat it on the grill until warmed through. If raw, cook it on the grill/smoker for 6-8 hours until it reaches an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C), then shred.

Finishing

  1. 8

    Serve the BBQ Platter

Once all meats are cooked, remove them from the grill/smoker. Let the brisket rest for 30 minutes before slicing. Serve the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs on a large platter with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
