Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning to the boiling water.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

Once the water is boiling and seasoned, add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

  3. 3

    Drain and Cool the Shrimp

Using a slotted spoon, remove the cooked shrimp from the pot and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for a few minutes, then drain and pat dry.

  4. 4

    Make the Cocktail Sauce

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of prepared horseradish, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix well and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Arrange the cooled shrimp on a serving platter, garnish with lemon wedges, and serve alongside the cocktail sauce for dipping.
