Method

Filling Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, lobster meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.

Wonton Wrapping

  1. 2

    Assemble the Wontons

Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the lobster filling in the center of each wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over to create a triangle, and press the edges to seal. Alternatively, you can fold the edges together to form a purse shape.

Frying

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a small piece of wonton wrapper into it; it should sizzle upon contact.

  2. 4

    Fry the Wontons

Carefully add the wontons to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even cooking.

  3. 5

    Drain

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried wontons from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Dipping Sauce

  1. 6

    Prepare the Dipping Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the sweet chili sauce and sriracha sauce. Mix well and set aside for serving.
