Veal Cutlet Parmigiana Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Veal Cutlets

Season the veal cutlets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs.

  3. 3

    Bread the Cutlets

Dredge each veal cutlet in flour, dip it into the beaten eggs, and then coat it with bread crumbs.

  4. 4

    Fry the Cutlets

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded cutlets for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Place the fried cutlets on top, then cover each cutlet with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and serve hot.
